TINY

This image is from our book, Aesops Refabled, and is the image for the Lion and the Mouse, a good example of the strength of the 'tiny' mouse helping the trapped lion escape.

Wood

For the word of the week 'wood', I remembered this saying from my childhood - you were supposed to say it really fast.
How much wood could a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
A woodchuck would chuck all the wood he could chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood!

Sparkle

I immediately thought of the sparklers we had as kids for the word 'sparkle'. Then I thought how even more 'sparkling' it would be to have a bird magically fly out of the sparkler.

Wisdom
I checked in with Illustration Friday and saw 'Wisdom' as the word for the week. Though not really conceptual in the illustration sense, this painting is of Wisdom the albatross, a wild female Laysan albatross and the oldest confirmed wild bird in the world. I would think that makes her a very wise creature indeed.
